How do I install the Pearl S in my car?

Your Pearl S should be installed on the compatible FamilyFix S ISOFIX base (sold separately). The Pearl S cannot be installed with a vehicle belt. Have a look at our instruction videos to see how to install the Pearl S and FamilyFix S in your car.

Can I use Pearl S in multiple positions in the car?

Pearl S can be used in the rearward-facing (until min. 15 months) and forward-facing positions, all the way up to 4 years. At Maxi-Cosi, we recommend travelling with your child in the rearward-facing position for as long as possible, as research shows this is the safest way of travelling with children.

From and up to which ages can I use Pearl S?

Pearl S can be used from birth (40 cm) with the Newborn inlay accessory, all the way up to 4 years old (105 cm). Without the Newborn inlay, you can use Pearl S from approx. 3 months (60 cm).

Is the Newborn inlay included with Pearl S?

The Newborn inlay is sold separately as an accessory. With the Newborn inlay, parents can choose whether to use Pearl S from birth or start with a separate baby car seat, like Pebble S, from birth.
