Additional Needs & Transport Professional Hub

Clear, practical resources to support safe, dignified travel for children and young people with additional needs. We provide lifestyle-supporting travel solutions that sit alongside professional judgement and safeguarding considerations — not instead of them.

Clear scope & boundaries Practical, needs-led support No pressure, no obligation

Why professionals choose us

We support families where standard car seats or travel arrangements no longer meet everyday needs — with a calm, responsible approach that respects professional judgement.

Needs-led, not label-led

We focus on the child’s travel needs (posture, sensory comfort, regulation, routine) rather than assumptions based on diagnosis.

Clear boundaries

We are a lifestyle-support service. We don’t replace OT/physio input and we don’t over-promise outcomes.

Practical, real-world support

Families receive hands-on guidance and clear information to support safe, consistent everyday travel.

  • We encourage: professional involvement where needs are complex, changing, or require multi-agency coordination.

Who we commonly support

Needs often overlap. We commonly support children whose travel safety or comfort is affected by physical, sensory, emotional, behavioural, cognitive, or communication-related needs.

  • Postural support and positioning during transport
  • Sensory comfort and regulation challenges
  • Anxiety or distress associated with vehicle travel and transitions
  • Difficulty using standard restraint systems safely
  • Physical and neurological conditions that affect safe seating

Examples of diagnoses you may see: Autism/ASC and SLCN, ADHD, anxiety/trauma-related presentations, moderate/severe learning difficulties, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and other mobility/postural conditions.
