I really likes the seat at first, but there is a design floor in the side panels. The plastic stops leaving about half a centimetre gap before the polystyrene starts and the fabric wraps in to meaning the polystyrene is easily bent, less than a year old and both side panels of polystyrene have snapped completely, full length from about half way back. Having contacted Axkid you can get new polystyrene panels for £18 each but they are on back order. We use this seat in conjunction with a special needs harness so we don’t have many options on compatible seats. I like Axkid my other child is in a mini kid but this seems like a design floor that the plastic doesn’t fully protect the polystyrene from being bent
On the plus side it is relatively light to transport .
Negative points are the seat belt doesn’t flow freely through the shoulder attachment and I find it frustrating when placing a child in the seat .
Furthermore, to remove the seat from the car and Isofix attachments , it is an awkward squeeze of 2 buttons simultaneously on each side to release the seat .
Having said that , I’m assuming these are possibly part of the safety features, but I find them inconvenient .
Keeps our child safe n secure and knowingcant get out hes now so relaxed in seat
