At In Car Safety Centre, we are often asked what seats we would recommend for our customer’s children’s based on their current age. However, car seats are not prescribed based on a child’s age. Children’s car seats are sold based on weight or height categories.
The reasoning for this is fairly straightforward. Two children of the same age can have very different weights and heights.
Below is a rough guide based on upper and lower limits.
