High Back Boosters Car Seats

High back boosters (HBB) are suitable from 15kg, but we would typically recommend waiting until 18kg or 100cm if possible, as children can still be very small at 15kg. There should be no rush to move your child onto this stage as typically the seat that they are currently in will be safer and provide more support for your child. We always recommend maxing out the height of your child’s current s eat before moving onto the next one. We have chosen not to stock booster cushions as they simply do not provide the same side-protection that a HBB does, and the backless booster cushions do not take a larger weight or height than that of a HBB, they simply bring a child up to the height to reach the car’s seat belt. A HBB should be used to a minimum of 135cm, but if your seat allows your child to grow to 150cm, then we would recommend continuing to use it.
