We would recommend ISOFIX seats simply because they are easy to install and reduce the chance of installation error. These ISOFIX seats will have indicators to let you know you have installed it correctly, meaning you can be confident in your installation. 70% of seats are either incorrectly fitted ...or unsuitable for the car they are in, so if you know your seat is compatible with your car, and know installation is correct, you will have better peace of mind that your child is travelling safely. ISOFIX has been in most new cars from 2006, so you must firstly check that you definitely have it, but also that the seat is compatible. All of our products have a compatibility list that you can consult before purchasing, or you can ask one of our highly trained experts. Although ISOFIX is easy, it isn’t always the most suitable option even if you have ISOFIX. Sometimes if you have sloped/buckets seats, your new car seat will sit at an angle that is too upright for your child, and due to the fixed position of your ISOFIX connectors, there is no way of adjusting this. In cases like this, we would recommend opting for a belted seat. Parents often worry about going for a belted seat because “they’re not as safe”, but this is untrue. As long as your seat is correctly installed, it is safe. Take a look at the seats we offer, and feel free to contact us should you have any questions.Read More
