Belted Toddler (approx. 1 – 4 years), Plus Tested Car Seats
People seem to think that belted seats are not safe in comparison to ISOFIX seats but it is simply that there is less chance of installation error with an ISOFIX seat. As long as you know how to install your seat correctly, there is no problem. Some cars will not have ISOFIX, although most new cars ...from 2006 do, so you will have to go for a belted option. Sometimes our belted options will fit your car or child better, and may be a more suitable option, even if you do have ISOFIX. Our range of 25kg harness seats are all seat belted and tethered too, meaning you get a very solid installation as the seat is being held tightly in both directions. Some belted seats will also use a top-tether, so be sure to check your car has this before purchasing one that is installed this way. We always recommend our 25kg seats for those who wish to rear-face for longer, or those with bigger than average children who will most likely need a harness for longer. Have a look at our range, and contact us with any questions you may have.Read More
