Child seats are seen in the form of high back boosters (HBB) or combination seats. When putting your child into a HBB, although suitable from 15kg, we would recommend waiting until 18kg or 100cm if possible, as children are often still very small at 15kg and their current seat should go to at least ...18kg. We always recommend maxing out the height/weight of your child’s current seat before moving to the next stage. We have made a choice not to stock booster cushions as we feel that they do not provide the same side-protection as that of a HBB, and the backless booster cushions do not take a larger weight or height. A HBB should be used to a minimum of 135cm (or 12 years of age), but if your seat allows your child to grow up to 150cm, we would recommend continuing to use it for that time. For those of you outside the U.K. your car seat must be used to 150cm. Choosing a HBB typically proves easier than your other car seat choices, but we must still check your seat and car will be compatible, which is why we will ask for your car registration number. If not compatible, we will contact you and advise on a suitable alternative.
